New front tyres, alignment took 3 days.... headlights finally adjusted so now have decent throw down the road.... winter tyres in the shed, took it to Southport for a rave, had it washed, service light came on so that's booked in.

Sat in a C70 hard top, lovely but low headroom for me. The search continues!

If you went to Southport for a rave then it must have been at the legendary pontins

It’s a bit early in the year for the pontins weekender

I live there for 30 years and didn’t go ever but it used to cause chaos every time it was on I was more of a Wigan pier fan

Actually was yesterday, but oil service at 297k, new Volvo filter and Shell Helix 5w40 as usual.

Realised the old BlackBerry USB cable to my cradle is kaput, so ordered a replacement Portapow cable from Amazon. Wish they didn't have red tips, but hey ho. Function over form in this case. Hope it is indeed the cable and not the adapter!

Reminded myself that not being able to find a replacement for this beast is a blessing in disguise, as I can continue to run this into the ground, which appears to be a long way off yet.

Ahh such a venue, I never did any of the hardcore heaven Weekender events held there as I got into it all a few years too late, but did do the clubland live Weekender last summer which was in conjunction with ravers reunited, absolutely brilliant weekend.

Started yet another wheel refurb last night, having already blasted them a week or so ago I already had a decent lightly profiled finish, so a single coat of etch, the silver and then one coat of the silver flake was achieved last night, then this evening I've done one more coat of flake, then two of clear lacquer, so so chuffed how these have come out

Today I fitted new tailgate struts, the old ones came from baldmosher a few years ago. The new one's are all black and the best bit is they were a tenner!
The old one was leaking and a bit rusty so it all tidy again.
