I just put on 225/45/17 Avon ZV7's. I was looking for a summer tyre but with good performance in the rain as it tends to rain here most of the summer anyway lol

Went by online reviews and wanted something that was quiet enough. I'm impressed so far and they didn't hurt the pocket too much either.

I put these:

http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Un...ainsport-3.htm

At the time it was the Rainsport 2 on our C70 and loved the handling.

Since that first time I've put them on three V70's - two petrol and one D5.

Next time I'm going put these on the D5:

I've just put Uniroyal Rainsport 3's on my V70 following advice from many others. I've only done 2 miles on them so far though!

225/45/17 is that the factory spec?
I was looking at a website that had all the 17s as 225/50/17?

Also looking at rainsports....2 new tyres required very soon!

I've got Michelin Crossclimates all round on my S60.

Great in the wet and dry, and the snow as well.

They are quite at a fast cruise as well, certainly get less understeer than I did on Avon ZV7s

Cheap arrowspeeds from quick fit are surprisingly good. For good handling I've used hankook ventus V12. Great for corners and wet surface, not so good on wear, I need to change the front after 15k miles
