Number
Hello to everyone on here. Just posting a query. Why would this Day Running Light Trim from a VOLVO S80 D4 2016 have a number marked on the back, does it mean anything to anyone? I am not sure if the number is 71011 or 71071. thanks to any answers in advance. Last edited by V4Volvo; Mar 19th, 2018 at 11:25. |

I'm guessing, it was already been replaced?

or turn it upsidedown and that number could be 1412.
There's normally a date of manufacture moulded into plastic parts, often a small circle with the year number in it with months in a ring around it, or a rectangle with the year and months in a grid. Checking for that date would enable you to tell if the part is of a similar age to the car (usually they're a few months to a year older than the car) and see if it is a replacement. The written number could be almost anything from the ID of the guy running the machine when it was made, the number of bits in the storage bin it was on the top of, an order number etc etc.
