Lightbulb Volvo c-30 1.6 r design engine conversion!!!!

Hey guys 👍
In the near future I’m looking in to doing a engine conversion from a 1.6 d r design to a t5 engine, all I really want to know if it’s a straight forward conversation, and any other info would be great thanks guys 🙂

Lots of difficulty along the line .. much easier and cheaper no doubt to sell yours and get a T5 .. or get an inexpensive non volvo engine tune to get 140 bhp ..

Each engine type has it's own gearbox which has it's own driveshafts and it's own ECU which is coded to the cars electrical system, radiator , exhaust system. perhaps brakes and wishbones and fixtures and fittings .. It depends how Inventive and skilful you are with cars ...

And another question the 1.6 td engine I got in there now sometimes goes into limp mode, and won’t rev passed 3k but it still does not 80 like that but I’ve had a diagnostic plugged in and no faults came up just wondering if you know anyone who had th same issue I’ve changed the filters not sure what it could be
