Default Volvo XC90 D5 SE For Sale

We've decided to sell the wife's XC90 as it's sat on the driveway doing nothing. We bought it at the end of May 2016 but a change in circumstances means it has barely been used over the last few months.

We bought it with a slight oil leak, which was the core plug and cost £400 to fix. The previous owner has spent over £3000 on it (receipts to prove) so it's had a lot of maintenance work to keep it going for years to come.

It runs and drives spot on, I was thorough when I bought it and checked it with VIDA before buying it, the codes it came up with were for the alarm system, my guess is the common fault of the electrics degraded over time so the previous owner pulled the fuse, so there's a message on the dash on start up.The other issue was the reversing sensors were faulty, but I don't like them on any car so I never got them fixed. This also shows a message on start up.

Bodywork is generally really tidy, a few small dings here and there and a light scratch from a bush on the passenger side. The front windows bounce back down if you do the auto-close thing, but work fine if you hold the button. It's probably something that can be recalibrated with VIDA, but my laptop has packed up.

Good wheels and tyres, Parrot Bluetooth hands-free system, 6 disc CD changer, DVD screens in the front head rests, roof bars, side steps, built in child booster seat in the centre seat and most inportantly, a bombproof Euro 3 engine. The geartronic semi-automatic gearbox works perfectly. This year car is the cheaper tax band than the 2005 onwards model, saving around £300+ a year.

It has recently had an MoT which it failed due to a bulb on the rear, and the wishbone bushes were worn which have now been replaced. The car will be sold with a fresh MoT.

We're wanting £4000 for it, open to offers of a smaller car plus cash our way.

Any questions, please message me on here or call/text on Oh-7779-three-85545.

Cheers,

Dan

My V70 is now sold so it's just the wife's XC90 to go.

Will drop the price for a forum member. We are located near to Paignton train station so can collect potential buyers from there if required.

Dan

Hi Dan - did you sell your xc90? If not, could you possibly send me some additional details and pictures please? Our trusty 2004 Audi A4 was bumped into my a delivery driver at the weekend, and is most likely a total loss. Just waiting on the assessment, but trying to be one step ahead with replacement options.

Thank you and kind regards, Jamie

Hi Dan - apologies, I couldn't pm you back due to not having enough posts on the forum.

Hi Dan - that's much appreciated, thank you. No injuries, but surprised just how much damage to the car there was. Just one of those things.

We've been looking at lots of options including another audi. On reflection, I think we're going to hold out for a V70 which might suit us a bit better. Your xc90 certainly looks very nice though in the pictures, and thank you for coming back to me.

Thank you and kind regards, Jamie

I can't understand why this isn't selling? The wife is harassing me because she's seen a car she wants.

£3000

Thumbs up Looks a nice car . . .

. . . if only I had the space but 5 cars would seriously upset my wife and neighbours
