Default 2003 XC90 D5 - for sale for parts/fixing??

Hi
what's the chances - had a trusty XC90 for 8 years - time for a downsize - put in an order for an XC60 and two weeks later, while still waiting for the new one to arrive, the crankshaft seal springs a leak!!!

It obviously didnt want us to sell it!

SO - any advice? or indeed any takers on here for taking it off my hands for parts/scrap or fixing yourselves.....

Its the nice light metallic green one, with 166,000 miles, has been the perfect family wagon with only us and one previous owner.
bodywork close to immaculate, no rust and nothing major ever gone wrong with it before, only the usual brakes, tyres, starter motor/flywheel etc.

I'll spare going into any more details now, but if anyone is interested please do let me know and I'll happily share any information and work towards any deal.
cheers
kevin

Front seal manifests itself with oil around the crank pulley only and the fix is as difficult as a timing belt change so pretty straightforward. There's a fix video on my YouTube channel.

Rear seal or core plug leak is all around the join with the gearbox.

hi
Its the automatic and to be honest no i didn't have a price
All quiet on here so I just slapped it on ebay as spares or repairs no reserve starting £300....
Wasn't expecting 20 offers of buy it now up to £900 (suspect?) within a couple of hours. Some seemed genuine but you have to enjoy the ones with no feedback asking for your telephone number (several)

Anyway a couple of people have started bidding so I will just let it run - if it goes up a hundred and i dont get the run around i will be happy
search 132177595813 to find it if interested
Thanks for the message
