V70: Electrical - "Child Lock Service Required" Warning

I know there have been a few mentions of this in the past but I have started getting a warning message per above.

I can open the rear doors and close them but the message comes back on the next time I start the car.

Does anyone know there has been a permanent fix for this. I think it is a false error message.

there is a software upgrade for this fault if your car is still under warranty foc
