Claying is when a special clay bar and a lubricant spray is used to clean the paint of a vehicle.

Basically a lubricant is sprayed onto the car and the clay bar is used over the lubricant to clean any tar spots, contaminants from the paint.

It is not the same as T-CUT in it does nothing other than prepare the paint surface for polishing.

Have a look at www.detailingworld.co.uk and you will get a good idea of what I'm speaking about.

See www.the-detailer.com
and all should be revealed. My car is No 3 in the current display of his work, and it really is the business. He is based near to LBA, sorry, LBIA.

Best way to contact is email, as Steve has a full executive job in "day" time as well!

There are loads of other websites dedicated to detailing which will fill you in. Time, by the bucket load is needed, as well as elbow grease.

Have fun
