I changed my seat to an electric version, which also changed the seat belt anchor, and got the airbag warning - the anchors are not the same, definitely between XC60 and V60, and probably between years as well - I had to put my old anchor back on to get rid of the warning light.

It sounds to me like they've put a new anchor on an older car ?

There's no difference in what they look like !!

Default An answer to the comments about the airbag warning light

Fellow member Tatsfield has just posted in the V70 thread about the airbag warning light and its connection to the seat belt

This may be the answer for Longweekend and JeffCooper63 above

Mine went in for the seatbelt recall yesterday, total waste of time... after standing outside waiting for half an hour the guy walked out opened my door looked in, shut it , did the same on the passenger side shut the door gave me the keys and said that’s all ok bye took him less than 5 minutes but took me an hour and half travelling time there and back. If I had known I would have emailed them a picture instead.

Had mine done yesterday in less than half-an-hour by Volvo Maidenhead, with no issues.

Phoned Tollbar Warwick on Friday. The person who answered the phone said that they were aware of the recall, but didn’t have any of the parts. They were expecting some in January so I should call back then.

My main dealer has only just got them in. Booked in for Feb along with the cooling recall and the annual service.

Had mine done just before Christmas, the outer fixed mounting has now lost the previous wire & rubber sleeve & the belt is now mounted to a mounting inside the side of the seat. Not sure if the belts themselves were changed as they don't seem to be any shorter with the new mount a good 10-15 cm lower in the car.

CSZ, Tollbar Warwick are a waste of time, try TMS in Coventry, you'll get some honest sense from them.
My XC60 went in for its MOT and they did the seatbelt recall work while it was there. I didn't need to ask them. They said they are being sent the parts in batches.
