T5R92011 FCW Auto Service Last Online: May 13th, 2024 23:44 Join Date: Feb 2015 Location: Gloucester	Worth noting that the (Volvo designed) 2.5T 5 cylinder was offered with 197bhp and later 231bhp so it will be worth checking what version you are looking at. The 2.0 T5 4 cylinder engine of that year is a Ford Ecoboost engine design that was lightly modified by Volvo. It outputs 237bhp. The 2.5T is a well tested and proven reliable engine. It will be heavier on fuel than the 2.0 4 cylinder but its better suited at shifting the bulk of a V70 due to having more cylinders and more of the torque being available sooner. Also, the geartronic autobox mated to the 2.5T is more reliable than the powershift "DSG" style unit than the 2.0 T5 comes with. __________________ FCW Auto Service (Gloucester) https://www.fcw-autoservice.com
