Surround camera fails to initialise
Hi,
I have a XC90 First Edition. Despite numerous software upgrades I still have this intermittent fault. When I put the car into reverse I get a grey screen in the display with the car outlined and the four cameras marked with symbols. After about four seconds the display reverts back to normal, Sat Nav, Radio, Phone display and I have no surround view. Turn the engine off and on again and all is good so difficult to reproduce apart from taking a video and showing the dealer. As the car is in its third year I want to get these niggles out of the way while it is still in warranty. At what point do I just say "her's the car, sort it". Pretty much what I've done now with my S90 and it's rear non-functioning seatbelt retraction mechanism... I called VCUK to complain, and told them to sort out with whatever dealer they want to take it to including pick up, drop off and hire car. Seems to be the only way to get anything done.

Contact Volvo UK and tell them about the issues and history of it and again ask them to log this as an ongoing warranty issue and tell them you want it resolved ASAP, its my experience that they in turn will contact your dealer who will get back to you and ask you to make an appointment for them to try and resolve it. Be polite but firm. |
