Volvo 850 t5 crank main and big end brgs, apart from oem brgs what other makes to people recommend ?

I always used Hepolite engine parts .....been going for absolutely years and are a well trusted make.

AE are superb also.

Just be a bit careful as Volvo used graded shells to the bores that they sit in.
There is a written section and table in the haynes manual.

Go Volvo only due to the grading as above.
Avoid Glyco like the plague, they have one size fits all. No bueno

i think hes referring to the actual process of how theyre machined.

theyre 'Line Bored'. so technically it is a bore, its just the crank split line cuts it in half

Yes, he is referring to the process made.

Just for useless information........where the crankshaft bearings are undersize in measurement the actual fit of the mains in the block and cap etc. are graded in colours

eg: Bearing Yellow Kit
