My impression is that it deserves reading and study before it is needed, so that if the info is needed one is not starting from scratch looking things up.

So far my anti virus seems totally happy.

Definitely be wary. And that download is only free if one remembers to cancel the subscription in time. Free downloads for 30 days.

the american LH 2.4 has a few emission differences but the basics are the same ..

My Mcafee antivirus did not pick it up , but an AOL spyware programme did ...

Default I replaced mass air sensor- no change

My 1992 Volvo 240 started running rough a little while back. One of the clamps came loose near the mass air flow sensor when driving so dirty air was going through the sensor, bypassing the air filter. I checked for codes and got a 1-2-1 which mentioned mass air flow sensor. I took off the hoses, cleaned the throttle, cleaned the old mass air flow sensor with a can of cleaner made for the sensor.

Wife drove the car to town (about 8 miles) and halfway the car started running rough again. We had it towed home. Code read 1-2-1 again (I cleared it before she left).

Just installed a new mass air flow sensor today and it still seem rough. Not sure I want to drive it to town. No codes yet since I cleared the code after installing new sensor.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Default MAF sensor

Has anyone ever tried opening it up and fixing it?

My 245 has been running somewhat "tires" and I get code 121 only. I imagine its the MAF sensor which typically goes bad when the little thermal valve in the air filter housing box fails. By the way does anyone know where to buy those little valves? ANyway I need both the little thermal valve and a MAF anybody have one for sale? I am near Pamplona SPain my # is +39380692713FIVE

thanks
luke
