Most of the usual suspects (ECU ,egr, throttle body, vacuum pipes, MAF etc etc ) don't apply as these were all complete with the donor engine. Therefore, I can only think that an idling problem has to be either a fueling/air problem or a mis matched sensor. Possibly gas pedal, injector pump. The major surgery you have done is a big job. Missing a small thing or getting a faulty electrical match on a modern car is highly likely. I can only suggest biting the bullet and going for a Volvo specialist. All the best, your hard work deserves a reward.

Also I highly doubt Volvo will even look at the car as it has gone through such major work. But I will try and see as I need to see if they can code my radio. I will get there eventually, don't want to give up now. Alot of time has gone into this! |

I checked codes again today and I have an intermitant code 1563 engine shut off. Has anyone encountered this before? I also read up that a fuel temperature sensor can cause arractic engine revving or stalling. Anyone know voltages I should be getting at fuel temp sensor connector?
