Information
  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default Voice Control Update
New voice control update available on Volvo UK web site: date 13/Nov/17

I wonder what has been added/removed, as no details provided (as per previous updates).

Downloading now and will install in a bit and see if I can spot any differences.

Anyone already updated and found anything?

Hmmm. If they don't tell us what's new, how do they expect us to find out. Bit different to map updates where you might find new roads etc.

It's annoying that Volvo don't publish a changelog.

I'm hoping it re-introduces the "I'm hot" and "I'm cold" commands. Bet it doesn't though.

I think a Jim Carey in the Mask like phrase of "Smmmokin!" would be fun

yes, the return of "I'm hot" and "I'm cold" would be nice - I liked them

Installed the latest software a couple of days ago.
The “I am hot” - “I am cold” function did work after the update, but not today.
Has anyone had a similar problem?

No, mine still work fine. Or at least did last night when I used them (to my daughters amusement Will re-check next time I am in the car

Checked this morning, and "I'm hot" and "I'm cold" still work for me.

I wonder what would happen If you put the USB stick with the update in again? That's what I would try. I guess it will either say there is no update as you are already on the latest version. Or, if for some reason the latest update has been lost, then it would probably perform the update again.

though that would not explain why/how the update got lost.
