Smile V40 T4 Info

Recently bought 1999 T4 with 113000 miles on clock. Lot of work carried out prior to purchase (had been fixed by RAC patrolman, after shedding belt and bending inlet valves).

Car runs fine and does not smoke, but not sure that turbo is boosting fully. It pulls OK, but is more like a bigger multi cylinder engine than a turbo. Had a 2.0 LPT a while ago, and turbo seemed more noticeable on it - I have been driving an Impreza STI for a period though...

Simple (possibly stupid) question - how can I check this easily?

Cheers
