Default Poly Bush Engine and Box?

Hello all, I'm finished stripping the engine and box and I'm now on the build up stage and I've a question.

Where can I get polybushes for the engine and gearbox, also all of the rear axle mounting points, tourqe rods etc?

Also does anyone know where I can get a prop shaft mounting bush from anywhere, the big rubber one behind the gearbox cross member that holds the prop in place?

Any info of where and how much would be appreciated,

Thanks Andi K

You need to speak to Dai at Classic Swede on 01407 832290. You are most likely to get him evening and weekends. Ho should be able to help on all your requirements.

Dai, I understand that you are trying to help - when you say you are the poly bush man are you selling something in a commercial context? If you are I urge you to read the new rules regarding commercial posting which is posted in the Performance section and 850/V70 section. There is a total ban on commercial posting for two weeks.

>Where can I get polybushes for the engine and gearbox,

I won't say they don't exist, but I have never heard of them. People who want harder engine mounts normally go for diesel engine mounts. I would strongly advice against the hockey puck trick, as it involves using a solid bolt. The original mounts have no hardware through the rubber, as they are designed to shear in a collision, enabling the engine to be pushed down and under the car.

If you look at my avaltar you will see a 240 gearbox mount.

As too being a commersial, well I work 9-5 as a technical adviser.
The parts I supply are ones I have invested a lot of money in development. I am not in this for profit so, but am tring to cover costs. If this gets me kicked off then so be it, I'm sure my knowledge will be missed.
It's very silly what has happened.

Thanks

Hello dai, I'll be calling you hopefully on monday evening, with requirements. Surely you shouldn't be persequted for trying to help other entusiasts improve minor things, I would happily help out other VOC members if I could.

So if I send someone something and ask for payment to cover my costs either through my own labour or postage under certain aspects of the law I would be 'trading'
