Default S80 V8 Amplifier crossreference

Hello All,

Just purchased a 2007 S80 V8 AWD, and surprisingly impressed. Everything seems to work except the amplifier from the dynaudio system. I removed it as it was quite rusty on the exterior. I opened the bottom and found more rust than the titanic. Needless to say it's gone. So My question is what amp will work with this car? Mine is labeled with to P/N top is 31215530 and below it is 30752806. Is it possible to get one that has the same connections? My radio comes on and shows premium dolby II picture of the car then shuts down. It was disconnected from the battery for over a 1.5 years and it has not asked me for a code. The previous owner purchased the mr 12 volt adaptor and I can see the light coming to the amp under the seat.

Hope someone has tested this.

Thanks in advance.

You can use any amp, just remember the amp is part of infotainment theft protection, cem will check for serial nr and if is not match then it will shut down the net. To make it work you have to remove Itp (20£ at dealer plus labour) and then it will work

Perhaps that is why it isn't asking for the code. Would the code for the cd changer also require an amp code?

Thank you for the info.

Car configuration is in CEM, that's why to remove or add equipment you need load the software with vida online. The audio is on fiber optic, connected in a ring, if one of the noods fails it will shut down the system. First do the test of the fiber with vida

I'm still trying to work this amp thing out, but anyone know if the guts of the s40 premium is the same, the plugs are the same as the s80 but the mount/heat sink is different, which doesn't matter to me. It also seems to have the same purple sticker on it as my original waterlogged/rusted one.
