Default 2.4d 163 remap / D5 Dual Exhaust

Hello all!

I've just joined your forum, I've enjoyed reading through so far.

A few questions if I may...I have already searched!

I have just acquired a 2007 P3 S80 2.4d manual. As standard it comes with 163bhp, I understand it's essentially a detuned D5...does this make it possible to remap to 205bhp as with the later S80's?

Rear exhaust / Bumper
It requires a new rear bumper and exhaust back box. I have been given a rear bumper and dual exit exhaust (tail pipe either side) from a 2014 S80 D5...has anyone fitted the dual system to one originally a single exit? Naturally I'll need exhaust hangers, but were there any changes that mean it may not fit? I don't have the new exhaust here yet, or I'd just try fitting it!

Default remap

hi josh. i have a v70 175 and im thinking of increasing the power. i posted a thread last week on here about the polestar software update. i know its more expensive then you usual remap but its worth a look as its probably a lot more safer for the engine. have a look for it and go on the polestar websitewww.polestar.com

Thanks Mark, I'll go down the polestar route! I'd be happier knowing, they know exactly what they're doing!

Does anyone know about the exhaust difference, if any?

Thanks!

Exhaust should be a straight fit, old one off new one on,

You will have to cut exhaust where it goes over rear axle and sleeve it
