Possible Vacuum Control Issues
Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone had any accurate tests for the 3 Vacuum control valves on the 2.0d engine with the y piece intake on a 2009 C70 gen 2. I have a vacuum tester and I have good Vac on the valve port which goes to the turbo however when the revs increase there is no change to the vacuum which I thought there was suppose to be. Also does anyone have any values as to what vacuum should be registered at the 2 throttle body butterfly's as I have none on the left side as you look at it and only a small amount on the right side. I have poor MPG and what feels like poor boost / performance. There does not appear to be any leaks and the turbo is new. I ve checked all electrical connections and they seem fine. Any thoughts or experience would be greatly appreciated |

Hi
Post 9 below shows the layout on the V50. May be similar or the same?? https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showt...ht=Iain+vacuum Also have a read through. You should get full vacuum to all 3 solenoid. The solenoid output is then controlled by the solenoid to operate the actuators. I believe the solenoids are fed with a pwm signal that can control the level of the vacuum from each solenoid to its actuator. Quote:
