  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Smile Warning lamps

I have a strange intermittent fault with warning lights The battery charge and the ABS warning come on for about 30 seconds then go off again any ideas?

Hi,

An earthing issue or more likely an ignition barrel issue. See if twiddling the key in the ignition has a similar effect.

I thought it mite be ignition switch as I had the same problem with a Suzuki vitara I also found the switch a bit stiff to turn to start will have a look tomorrow

The switch and lock barrel can be separated. The switch bit fits/screws on the end of the barrel fitment and is connected to the loom via a push on multi-plug ..... but new switches ain't cheap!! Bob.
