has anyone cleaned the terminals on the CEM where it didn't fixed the issues??

my car (V50 2004 2.0D, 250k miles, driving at 70mph) broke down,, nothing...
got my ecu reader, got messages that communication with can bus was bad, cumm. with dash was lost, fuel circuit was low, etc.
reset, but still it wouldn't start (did turn over)

than the brake failure message came on, immobilizer
then when starting i saw all types of messages fly by, steering, parking etc the all needed service
wipers started out them self
one window easy touch stopped after it moved 2 inches, other 3 where fine..
and i noticed that my front park (replaced for white leds) bulbs blinked...
this told me two thing either my car is fried or there is a bad connection

my first thought where to check the CEM, so got some contact spray and gave all the connectors a good spray...
still nothing..

went back later that eef to find out it just started :S

gonna get it out this evening and try and clean the terminal with some sand paper..
also will have a look at the loom behind the LH headlamp

is there a know ground connector to check? (cause i'm getting the feeling its something like that...)

pfff what a post...

one more thing, i have a sunroof, and had blockages issues due to poor design, never parked under a tree but still need to clean it out every year...
so got some water in the car
but not near the CEM so hoping it is not related :P

Today no crank at all... All seemed fine
except got "anti-skid message", refitted everything that is in the CEM without any luck. (2 hours of fumbling)
Jumpstart, still no crank..
Towed the car and it started immediately.. I'm thinking mabey the ignition switch is bad.., but could that cause all electronics to flip?
First crank no start, now start no crank??
Could al those errors (including engine light) come from a bad ignition switch??

Need help !

Love the V50, great car, but first car that let's me think of staying at home... and I drove 200sx's
