Default no power to lpg system.

well finally got the verdict today on the problem with no power to lpg system, was ckecked out by autotech of ripley derbyshire and the ECU is kaput, and is going to cost me about £500.00 to put right, how unlucky can you get it must be the most expensive part on the system, at first i was just going to sell the car and cut my losses, but having just picked myself off the floor and gave it a bit of thought, i feel i must carry on with the old volvo, as it is not viable to run it just on petrol, so an expensive start to 2010, just a thought can anybody get a lower price on an ecu it was about £360.00 quoted for it from bigas, cheers pete.

I should be able to get you a new ecu for under £300 for the aeb based system. You will need to reprogram the ecu so that will take some time.

Sounds like a good offer from Classicswede.

As another possible alternative, try Autogas 2000 on 01845 523 213.

Autogas 2000 converted my V70 5 years ago, and have looked after things brilliantly ever since.

Contacts are John or Chris.

Cheers

Jack
