I can recommend Phil at:

Twin Lakes Motor Engineers, Unit 12-13 Twin Lakes Industrial Park, Leyland, Lancashire. PR26 9RF.

(01772) 603923

Very experience motor mechanic (20+ years). Looks after our 1996 Volvo 940 and our 2003 BMW 325i SE.

Thank you, just saw your message still learning to get around on this site. Lancashire too far for me to go. I found a local garage through this forum. Thank you for your advice.

I can recommend Watchfield Service Centre who used to be Swindon Volvo but name changed due to complaint from Volvo UK!

Had my cambelt and tensioners done as well as the fuel filter with no bother at all. Need to get my rear discs "skimmed" as the juddering I get under braking has been diagnosed as rear disc running out of true. To be done this week at £15 a corner. Not bad, cheaper than a disc which was changed in January.

Watchfield Service Centre on 01793782342 are good.

Had the rear Brake discs skimmed for £15+vat, and it has fixed my juddering. Well done to the former Swindon Volvo now Watchfield Service Centre.

Ditto for Wrights of Attleborough. I've used them twice in 12 months: replacing a horn (!) and recently to change a faulty Alarm Siren Module (usual internal battery fault) on my S60. Fantastic service and Mark couldn't be more helpful.

Hi I also can recommend Wrights
I have only used them once so far but found them very helpful
and would not hesitate in going to them again
which will be on next service
