Cool pics of my S40 after suspension mods

Hey folks, just thought id post a pic up of my car after suspension mods. I got told by the garage that i needed a new front shock and 2 wishbones but decided to go the whole hog and fit sachs o'e spec shocks and struts, apex -35mm springs, wishbones, top mounts and bearings and track rod ends. The car sits way better than before ( really dont know why they came out the factory so high!) and handles like its on rails.. and not too stiff.

Nice, that car looks fit!!

Bet you notice the difference when pulling out at roundabouts , especially in adverse weather!

Are those 19" alloys?

I have 18" ones on mine

I'd say 18, what size tyres are you running?

That sits lovely mate, really like the look of that. I've been looking at B6 set up with a 30mm spring. I'd like mine to sit about the same as yours if a little lower only by 10mm or so.

What does the ride feel like?

The ride is perfect, not harsh at all. Thats why i just went for sachs O.E stuff, have had coilovers etc on previous cars and it was way too hard. I was originally going to go for H&R springs but there was a 10 day wait for them and my car was going in to garage in a couple of days.. thought i might have regretted the apex srings but there really good!

I've got Heico lowering springs that drop aprox 30mm I've read that many get the 30mm drop springs and then want to go lower so end up getting new shocks such as B6 to get the car sitting a little lower..?

Hi, can you check what size tyres you're running. I've got the same alloys on 215s and thinking of adding 225s. Will save me checking offsets etc if I know they fit!!
