V70 rear shocks on a v50
Just wondering if anyone knows if they are interchangeable
Shocks are from a d5 v70 2010 and remote reservoir type ( why I want they ) And would be going on a v50 2.0d 2008 They look a close match for fit but unsure, just wondering if anyone knows for sure |

It would appear they are not compatible.
This shock fits many others but not the one you want.

Yeah I thought similar, just thought I would ask
Is anything from the v70 d5s interchangeable to the v50 ? |

I think you'll be out of luck in general on this one as they are built on different platforms. A guide to interchangeability (real word?) is how these forums are divided. My early S60 for example shares many parts from S80 and V70. Maybe wiser heads know more volvopartswebstore is very good for showing alternative fitment of parts.
