he did then, he wanted more than 300bhp, so customised the S70 and now has AWD with a manual gearbox.

It does turn out that Volvo did make an S70 R AWD but not for the UK market. Hedley (Basher) had got the rear bumper with dual exhaust cutouts in it from one on his S70 R.

no - he's got the rear bumper from a s70 awd they didn't make an s70 R awd for any market.

Just to throw a spanner in the works,
A guy in Belgium reckons there was a S70r AWD available in 99 MY00 But I have not seen it or one personally. I guess the only way to find out is to send an email to Volvo Sweden. I like the grip AWD gives I just hate the power & performance it takes. Hedley |
