Please can anybody that owns one tell me if they had an undertray fitted.
When it rains my engine compartment ends up in a right old mess.I know there should be an air guide and a couple of blanking covers in the front bumper, but i would have thought it should have a car wide undertray on it as well, like my V70 has,or perhaps i'm wrong.thanks all.

Hi,it should have an under tray, usually they fracture at the mountings then come loose and get binned.

Hi,

Yep, mine has. Both the small one at the bottom of the bumper where the rads are and under the engine itself.

They can/do break easily as the mounting points are just plastic.
New one from Rufe on here should be about £35.

Des. . .

Thanks all,I will add that to the missing list,it amazes me that people think that the missing bits like these, dont make a differance, but they do.Correct directed airflow make a big differance, especialy to the cooling of the engine.

Cool

Wouldn't be without one. As you correctly say, it improves the airflow, and also acts as a great way of keeping all the road muck off the underside of the car. Particularly when they are out gritting.

I know they take a few minutes to get off, to work on the car, but the time they take is not a lot really for the benefits you get.

They will repair quite easily using fibreglass if damaged.

If you get a new one and fit it, try to add some cable ties at the front edge (drill through the spoiler and the tray) - three should be enough. They will prevent further loss of subsequent trays as the front is a 'clip fit' only.
