Volvo 850 T5 manual on gumtree

I have just spotted what looks like a decent 850 T5 on Gumtree down in Devon. I think it has been on there before at a much higher price. The price now is £1700. I would say that £1500 might buy it.

If I was looking for a T5, I would be seriously looking at this one.

That is still listed on Gumtree and yes it does look a clean one.
Paintwork looks a bit flat, could do with a machine polish.
According to the MOT history, the odometer is broken, nothing unusual on one of these and an easy fix assuming the plastic gear is still available.

Pretty sure that's not a T5. There was a GLT and a T5. To my knowledge never a GLT T5. I had a GLT and that's definitely a GLT interior. Wheels are GLT as well. Badges are definitely not genuine.

That's interesting Harvey - I looked the reg up on Cazana and it does come up as an 850 T5 GLT and it's clearly got the GLT trim and looks like Turbo pipework under the bonnet.

The T5 was an engine choice, not a trim level, you could have it with pretty much any trim level you wanted.

I spoke to the guy and asked about the cambelt and stuff and he has no knowledge of when it was done. It’s also go an oil leak (as most 850s do). Looks a good car but would need some money spending on it.

Yep was defo an 850 T5 GLT - I know cos I am still driving one after 21 years, MOT 3 weeks ago was a pit pricey though - £00.00 !
