Default XC60 retrofit Nav to gain reverse camera?

Hi,

Massive apologies if I am repeating topics from past threads. I have searched for this and not had any luck.

I have a 10 plate D5 XC60 Lux. It currently has factory reverse sensors fitted but no nav/screen system in it as there is just a blank cubby hole where a screen would usually be. I would like to add a reverse camera and wondered if it is possible to source a screen unit and install it into my XC60? Would my XC60 even support a screen? I would like it to look neat and integrated as I am quite a neat freak and would hate it to look like an after market stuck on thing. I would also ideally like to add front sensors too to integrate with this but have no idea whether any of this is possible.

Thanks in advance,

Will

I have the same car and have fitted a camera. I did post a guide but I can't find it either?
Anyhow, it not too difficult to do and the kit allows you to use the same screen.

Thanks for the reply. The main problem is that I don’t have any screen (only a small digital screen where the radio appears and sits on top of the dashboard). Is it possible to buy a screen/sat nav module and cut a hole in the plastic where it should be? As currently there is just an empty space.

Hopefully I have managed to attach a picture with this post so you can see what I’m working with.

Will

Stick on mount but adaptable, number plate mounted camera.... Worth a look perhaps.

Retro fittingsenus would be doable if costly even with salvage parts, cheaper and probably better is to get an aftermarket nav/camera unit fitted to the cubby. If you are lucky there may be a moulding you can buy if not may have to cut one into the cubby either find a local reputable car audio installer and pop in or get the screwdrivers (torx bits) our and strip the console and take the cubby out, measure up for likely units that might fit and go from three volvotech.eu sell cameras and interface kits but no screens.

There are a few Volvo mechs on here see what would be needed to upgrade to senses from a salvage unit.

Video here shows swapping but car had the loom connections already https://youtu.be/V6vBtomBW0I
