Default V40 d4 brake clicking

Hi there, I,m new on here and am looking for any advice please.i bought a 2016 v40 d4 in February, it has started making a clicking noise on the far side front every time I brake when pulling up to a junction or turning. I can't hear it while breaking at higher speed. The garage had a quick look and I even got my husband to take the wheel off to no avail, nothing was obvious. Has anyone else had anything like this happen?

My V40 used to click when the brake was pushed down at low speed e.g. parking.

It did it for years. Turned out to be part of the brake pads had seized to the caliper.

It was never noticed until I changed the front pads and rotors.

I'd been worrying it was gearbox related until a change of pads sorted it.
