Default Scratch removed from aluminium console

Hi..
I dont know if its been raised before but I have just rubbed out a light scratch on my aluminium centre console (which was bloody annoying me) using a small wad of Duraglit polish material. The scratch was across the consle about 1 inch long and I rubbed it vertically with the grain of the aluminium so to speak and after a few trys the scratch had gone with no other effect on the aluminium it looks fine now....

Thanks Mike, I have a small one to remove shortly - nice to know it will polish out.

Sounds good!

However mine (V50 SE) has scratches and dents from where I reach for the seatbelt lock! While I'm on I am getting fed up of putting my mobile in the slot behind the handbrake then when I stop pulling the handle and then sending my phone flying and/or snagging the cable from the cigarette charger in the inconveniently located socket... ok rant over

Thanks for the tip though
