2019 xc60 tpms
Hi all,
First post here, so please feel free to redirect as appropriate. I have an XC60 purchased March 2019 (don't know how to check the MY I'm afraid) and I want to purchase a set of winter wheels and tyres. I'm trying to check whether I need a set of TPMS sensors for the new wheels and frankly I'm struggling a little.
So, I'm confused and somewhat unclear as to how to get an authoritative answer. Questions:
Thanks in advance Paul |

Hi. There is no direct sensors on the recent Volvos ( at least 5-6 years back). It is very likely the dealer you have spoken to is one of the most who doesn't know their staff. |

Paul.
Your model will use the ABS wheel sensors to measure any differential wheel rotational values to determine which wheel(s) are going slower than the others to use as a guide for which tyre has a puncture. So quick answer is there are No Sensors which makes changing from Summers to Winters a simple case of just removing the wheel sets.
