Default MY21 XC90 - specs when?

Will be new XC90 T8 ordering time in next few months for a Dec 2020 delivery, but also thinking about a lease extension (I think our MY18.5 was a T8 sweet spot - 407 bhp, larger battery, lower CO2 (BIK) and crystal knob!!)

Anyone recall when the next MY specs come out...I’m thinking it is around May?

I don’t expect far reaching changes, but if they bump the electric range to 30 miles, the BIK would reduce

Thanks
D76

I'm in a similar position; my lease expires at the end of August and I too am considering a lease extension. Alternatively, I would love to order a T8 if MY21 has the Android Automotive OS that will be going into the XC40 Recharge instead of the current Sensus version, which is really showing its age and lagginess now. Chances are they will hold the new version on XC90s for the all-new MY22, but hope springs eternal..

Would love to see a range close to 50-60miles to be on par with where the competition is going...
Current EV mileage seems a bit outdated.

We’ll be waiting until SPA2 variant for that kind of uplift!

But, an increase to 31 miles or more (as per say s60 T8) and drop back to sub 50 CO2 (as it used to be under the old rules) could shave 4% off the BIK rate. This sort of stepwise improvement could possibly be achieved with an incremental battery capacity uplift as part of a MY cycle.
