V90 CC Jacking points.
Apologies for the non-stop dim questions but it's the best way to resolve issues.
Moving on from jack pads I now want to ask about jacking points. The rear point is fairly obvious as Volvo have kindly constructed it with a plastic cover for protection. My dilemma came when I went to look for the front point. All I can see are the two holes in the lower bodywork one of which is presumably the jacking point but nothing obvious to suggest so. All my other cars have had something to identify the point and make it look different. Is it the one with the arrow? I'm not convinced that the curve of the body panel will be enough to accomodate the upturned lip of the jack but I guess it does.

Are they not visible behind the little triangles on the sills?

S5Warrior,
I hadn't even noticed the little triangles, so thanks for the nudge. I did see the underside diagram in the manual, as I ignored the one alongside it, which doesn't give much of a clue as to what the points look like. As you know the rears are obvious but with the front I'm confronted with 2 fairly anonymous holes each side. Tomorrow, I'm going to place the Volvo jack up against that forward hole just to see if the upturned lip has sufficient room not to dig into the metal. Personally, I don't think that there is enough room but I'm probably wrong.

Thanks to S5Warrior's triangle tip I found them low down on the sill. However, the front triangle doesn't line up in any way with what I suspect is the front jacking point. It is more in line with the metal plate with the hole in it which is obviously not load-bearing and is further under the car.
Can anyone confirm that what I have indicated with a ? is indeed the front jack point? Many thanks with this and if no words of wisdom arrive by tomorrow I will try and get the dealer to identify it.

Following a visit to the dealer and a painful explanation by me that the Volvo supplied jack has a domed head, I was shown the official jacking points.
Apparently, if you have the correct lifting equipment then the large frame/suspension/engine bolt is the best point on which to lift but is clearly unsuitable for the Volvo jack. You could also use a trolly jack on the official point but might dent the metal unless you have a suitable jack pad or can spread the load. The indicating triangle is a total waste of time as it points at nothing at all.

I wonder if I can claim royalties for using my photos? It looks a better fit than the one I got from them which was designed for a Tesla, and cheaper too. Hopefully, these will be of use to some people.
