Default Water ingress - - help

Hello.... my 2009 model year S80 has just started to do something very odd. It is dripling water from the roof joint with windscreen directly above sterring wheel Obvioisly its a bonded windscreen and I cant find any chips or damage so not sure where water is coming from. I have done a water test and no water comes in when stationary... only when moving wen dew has formes. it doesnt have a sunroof.... any ideas?

Is the windscreen a Genuine Volvo item or could it have been replaced? Autoglass might be ok with chips but I have heard and seen some complete horror stories when it comes to replacing windscreens!

hi.... i have gone through paperwork and yes its a replacement by autoglass.... they did it 4years ago...
I have called them and they have said their lifetime warranty isnt valid as we are a newer keeper.... I have escalated the matter but they are saying if there was a problem with the fitting then it woul have happened earlier. they will refit for £120 but say ill have to pay for a replacement if it breaks..! help

Volvo did have a page on their website a while ago stating the importance of windscreen replacement being done by themselves, as it is actually part of the crash structure.

Might be worth giving them a call and see what price they offer. Is the windscreen a genuine Volvo one or aftermarket?

Might be worth 'finding' a crack or chip in it that will require a replacement to be fitted, then getting Volvo to put the new one in...

so it now looks like 4 years ago autoglass fitted a replacmeny screen made for volvo by saint gobain. closer examination revealls the windscreen is lower on tje drivers side when looking at the roofline. autoglass and insurancr company both say wear and tear!
