Shift lever Blind
Morning all,
So I've noticed that the shift lever blind on my C30 has broken and now I can't use the manual feature of the geartronic box. I know this is a fairly common problem and I'm going to replace it my self. My question is, does anyone have the UK part number for the RHD shifter blind? I've looked online and have found this part number (8699465) but then I've also seen comments that it's LHD only....it does look to me that it could be used either on LHD or RHD. Any help in tracking down the correct part number will be gratefully appreciated. Cheers Marc |

I think that's the part number i used for my 2006 S40 which was ok.
Price is £ 13.68 from volvoshop.com plus delivery. Easy to fit if you use the guide on you tube but remember he is using LHD so just reverse it. I didn't and had to buy another Mods, i hope its ok to post parts website.

That's a genuine volvo part from them.
If i remember correctly the magnetic slider goes in pointing to the drivers seat the ribbed side goes face down. Took me 10 mins the second time around.
