Ahhhhh...... The magic question. Night Breaker light bulbs, V50 have notoriously rubbish headlights. You can clean the projector lenses if they’ve gone a milky colour but other than that is brighter light bulbs.

The above is just an example and there’s other brands out there, just look at the reviews. The downside is they don’t last as long as the original Volvo spec ones but you will get a good light output.

Get yourself a cuppa , have a long read of those two ,, then there can be light at the end of the tunnel that isnt a candle

P1 lights are cr*p from the factory - thats a fact. But wit a little or more effort, you can see the light... pun intended...

im almost tempted to put a pile of parts in the boot, head over and ply you with coffee while you sort mine out to that standard (but no HID's for me) and smithwicks once there all fitted,,

if i still lived in sligo , i would , strange thing since i left and came back over here i stopped drinking, Guinness does Not taste the same and theres No smithwicks

Best Guinness I’ve ever tasted was in a small back water pub in Mountrath, Co Laois. Old Jonny Purcell takes pride in his Guinness. I don’t drink at all these days sadly.
