Default C70 2007 fog lights problem

Hello, i have visited garage to do simply job oil and pollen filter replacement. Guys have disconnected fuse box to get into pollen filter. After that i had a problem with my car as i guess connector wasnt fitted properly and dashboard shows several errors airbags etc and dash backlight worked randomly. When that happened my light switch backlight works odd like there is lack of connection somewhere. Now on i have a problem as my fog lights wont turn on at front and back as well! I have checked fuses every single one is ok including engine bay! I thought so light switch is faulty but its not as i have swapped with my friends s40 and switch works perfectly. Any ideas what to do?

Take it back and ask them to put it right.

go back to the "garage" that have caused the faults, inform them their work is crap and they need to fix the faults on the car, and if they dont give them a Quote from a volvo main dealer for fault rectification for the things they have broken / fuged up

SRS/airbag warnings - mot failure = NEEDS vida and a dice unit to reset
at worse the car could need software reloads Main dealer only

Once said "garage" have Either fixed what they fuged up or paid to have it done at a main dealer NEVER ever go back to the morons

easy to say as they dont know what to do! all errors erased by them. i have vida and when i force front fogs by vida they're working but not working by pressing the button on a dashboard. As i checked my headlight button is working well as checked in another car. So what could happen if i can force fogs by the vida, relays are ok, fuses as well ? As i bought it it had LED's in a fog light may it be a problem ? as led uses less power than halogen bulb and cem after reconnection have a problem with it?

Doing pollen filter = unclipping or unplugging CEM completely, meaning all sort of errors can come out at once. It really should be done with battery unplugged, not sure if thats what you mean by "fuse box disconnection" or that "fuse box" was CEM unplugged with battery still on?
1st thing to do regardless: unplug battery, take the CEM out (completely out) and clean all connectors with connector cleaner.
Put it back, make sure all sits tight, connectors etc and plug battery back on. See if car comes back with any warnings in Vida etc. JThen start troubleshooting the foglamp, atleast you will start with clean slate.

did foglamps work before the work was carried out at all?

You almost managed to answer your own question. The fog lamp switch isn’t,really a light switch in the conventional sense.... pressing the switch tells the CEM to switch the fog lamps on or off... so if you can switch them on and off with Vida, it must be the connection from the switch to the CEM... which would quite likely tie in with the other issues you are seeing with switches and the dash lights.

well they did with battery on but all of that symptoms happened couple miles away from garage, and all of the connections looked well. Yes i meant CEM. Yes they did work well before work.
