Default V60 d5 rough idle

Morning,

Looking to see if you can possibly shed some light on the issue that I'm having with my v60.

Recently purchased but when the engine is cold the revs keep on adjusting and there is a slight judder coming from the engine but dissappears in a matter of seconds.

I have uploaded a video for you to see.

Any help would be great full.

A friend had a similar issue. Also quite a strong smell of diesel exhaust on start up. Only thing we found was an injector fault on VIDA. Car still runs fine.

That does sound a little rough, could be an injector or fuel restriction (sometimes changing the fuel filter can help).

As suggested, a fuel filter change may help. It could also be an injector though.

Get the codes read to see if there's any errors showing.

Mine has sommat similar from a very cold start, i have improved it by changing 1 injector, also replaced fuel filter and glow plugs. but the main change was when I replaced the injector, I do still have a very, very minor misfire for a short time, doesn't always show error codes for injector issue

Would a faulty injector cause a lose in mpg? The car is currently in the garage and should know more today hopefully.

Car was put on diagnostic and came up with faulty glow plug, replaced all 5 and clodes cleared, seems to be okay at the moment but will tell when I start the car up in the morning

UPDATE

Issue is still there, works out that the problem has been there since January this year looking back through the volvo history.
Booked back in on Monday to see if they can fix the issue
