Default maybe lost power?

well i was out a drive the other day and was joining a slip road for the motorway, in 3rd gear at 40mph and floored it..

the little citroen c2 vts in front of me just wondered off..

yes perhaps if i dropped into 2nd it may have helped but as far as im concerned my 2.4 180bhp got left by a 1.6 16v 120bhp..

she just doesnt feel as quick as when i first picked it up last week!

ive ordered one of these bluetooth obd2 things for the android app, will it show the boost level etc as i want to know if i have a boost leak or something..

whats your thoughts?

Which app you using?, Torque? It has a boost display, just search the add a display menu, oh and take someone with you !! it is far easier being able to check through all the displays etc when you are not driving!!

I think the vts s are more than 120bhp plus they weigh nothing!!!! They re faster than people think.... I'm not an expert on diesels but maybe a clogged dpf??

i know they are quick, my little starlet gt eats them up but although i wasnt really trying i was still surprised!

my plan is a remap and getting the DPF and cat removed, hopefully that will make a difference..

anyone else had any experience like this?

the car is in the garage getting the clutch replaced so now i have a corsa 1.2.. the mpg is amazing!!!

In in doubt run in to the dealers for a diagnostics test you never know you could have a dodgy sensor somewhere.

I had a fault on mine in which the car would rev round towards the limiter but after 2500 rpm no more power turned out to be a sensor, & I had no faults on the dash board.

Regards
