Went to see a car yesterday.But keeping T5!

a few weeks ago I did a tour of scotland well stonehaven, aberdeen, Loch Ness, Fort William and back to glasgow about 620miles in total and according to the trip which I reset before we started I got 36.7mpg which I guess is not too bad as the car was fully loaded and there was 2 of us and the dog.

To be honest I just can't see myself going to a smaller engined car I love the lazy power of the T5 and if I want to have a blast I know it'll put a smile on my face, don't get me wrong the girlfriends C30 is nice but it feels very underpowered compared to the T5.....

Anyway don't really have to worry about any of this till I managed to find a job back in the northeast so I'll just deal with it then, only went to see the D5 as it was 2 mins down the road.....

P.S. The salesman is still calling me you think the fact I haven't returned his calls would be a hint, but then the special one day only deal that I would get if I got the car there and then seems to have been extended :-)

I can sqeeze 550 out of my D5 manual at £65 - £70 so I would imagine that a V70 D5 would equal this distance with it's larger fuel tank.
