Sidemarker bulb help
Noticed last night that one of the sidemarkers is out, I take it there not canbus as now message on dash, anyway can't really tell (& is ****ing down so don't want to remove the headlight) is the bulb is orange or its a normal bulb and the reflector makes is shine orange? also is it a normal 501 bulb?
Thanks in advance Last edited by scoobysn7x; Oct 19th, 2012 at 02:36. |

Quite easy to do on the '70. I had to remove the indicator bulbholder first (just twist the bulbholder to release it) then twist the flat access extender on the sidemarker bulbholder (from memory it was anticlockwise on the LH as viewed from the rear) to release it, change bulb and replace in headlamp unit. No need to remove the headlamp on a '70, took me about 10 mins all in.

Mate, its a 2 min job each side if that.
Pop the light out the bumper and then you will see there is a screw top that holds the bulb.
