Error message

I've had to leave my V50 2.0d in morrisons as there's a message saying turn steering wheel and start again.
It's not turning over and the local mechanic said its a ignition fault.
Anyone had any experience of this? Expensive?

possibly the ignition switch faulty try turning it to start at least 50 times , you could well be lucky ... then get it to volvo to check the fault codes ,
