Default Volvo s60 2002

hello,
I bought volvo s60 a couple of weeks ago and i`m really pleased with it except a few things.
After reading everything i could on the forums i had no fix to my current problem
on the passanger side next to the headlight/ under the air filter box i hear a loud humming/buzzing noise. Like the other forums sugested i tought it was the auxiliary vacuum pump. I checked the pump switch (the one with 3 hoses) and seems fine , has power to the plug , change it but had no efect. After a i read another forum someone stated it could be the headlight adjust thing. i pulled the conector out but no joy, then i pulled the vacuum pump fuse to see if this changes anything but still no joy , so now i`m asking you guys what is the buzzing and to do to stop it.
Btw i did the above with engine turned off , but regardeles of the engine on or off the buzz is present.
My brakes are fine and the headlight adjust is ok.

So what is it.

Thank you

This is the section for S60 '10> / V60 '11> / XC60 '08>'17

If you have a 2002 S60 you might want to post that in the S80 '98-'06 / S60 '00-'09 / V70 & XC70 '00-'07 section, see link

https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=19

As they are completely different cars.
