Default Volvo XC90 problem

Help required
Our 08 plate Volvo XC90 is poorly sick and no one knows answer.
It keeps losing power and the revs rise to 5-6 k and doesn't change gear til put into Manuel. It often but not always goes into limp home mode, we've had turbo cleaned, fuel filter replaced.
It's been connected to computer but doesn't come up with anything particularly
Some times the engine warning is on red sometimes yellow and even off.

Get the codes read from vida. And start diagnosing from there. It could be various possibilities.

Sounds like an air leak some where....... Resonator box seals maybe ?

But as above, you need it reading on VIDA first.

Had the same problem on a 2010 XC60. Turned out to be DPF temperature sensor. Same symptoms i.e. occasional limp mode, no fault light and nothing stored in memory on ours.
