Hi Clan, Thanks for the message regarding the DPF location on the twin turbo D5. I do not have enough postings to reply to you :-(
I am not sure how to get a thread going about either. I thought I had but now cannot find it. Thanks for the help. The sensor was not up between the turbos either. I stripped the bulkhead panel out and all the sensors on the mounting plate at the back of the engine along with the battery carrier and CEM. Nothing! I eventually found it under the car It is mounted to the DPF with an extension bracket to keep it far enough from the heat. I can get the car running with a separate fuel supply but the CEM will not activate the fuel tank pump. It does occasionally fire up the pump but not often and I have yet to find what it triggering it. I guess it is possible the pump itself is intermittent but Vida says it is a tank out job rather than an access panel on this 2011 model?? Thanks, Ampy |
