Default Free set of leather seats

They are a sort of stone colour, I bought them about 3 years ago as "cream" but when they arrived from Liverpool they were more a very light sort of stone colour. Never got around to fitting them. Heated, electric they were for my early series one V70. Nice condition. No door cards just the seats. Got to go by the weekend. West London (W10)

Just had a message asking for pictures !! Pictures ! They are FREE sorry were FREE. Tomorrow they go to the tip despite costing me nearly £200. I just wanted rid of them but some prats don't realise that I was doing them a favour.

I was the prat that asked for a photo, thanks for doing me the favour. All I wanted to see was the colour and condition as it'll take me about an hour to get to you and I've just had spinal surgery, jebus slight overreaction!

"Nice condition" I would not have bought them and then paid somebody £80 to bring them down from Liverpool had they been rubbish. I simply wanted rid of them and felt I could do somebody a favour rather than just chuck them over the tip. They are still wrapped in black protective film. Requiring pictures etc just proves the old saying "Never look a gift horse in the Mouth. They are going to the tip.

Shall I say what others are thinking, but are a little more restrained than me -

Only a PRAT would throw good leather seats into the tip, there is ALWAYS someone who wants them.
Someone who is prepared to drive a long way to get them despite recent surgery, for example. Load them into his car for him, give him tea and cake, and thank him for saving you the dump run and not wasting them.

Chuck yer handbag in there while you are at it. Its not difficult to put up a picture of the seats.

I have no intention of taking pictures when it means unwrapping every seat which is still wrapped in black protective security film just so I can take pictures when I am giving the seats away for FREE. I had described them quite adequately they are in really good condition or I would not have bought them from a member here 3 years ago and had them shipped down from Liverpool. If I was hoping to sell them then I might just do that but these were being given away FOR NOTHING. As for being a prat for throwing them away I bought them, they are my seats to do what I want with. I chose to offer them here for NOTHING before taking them to the tip. It seems however that even seats I would be giving away need to have me unwrap them, lay them out and take pictures answer a million pointless questions before somebody is gracious enough to come and take them for NOTHING. Not a chance. Don't have the time. If you want pictures then go along to Kensington and Chelsea's tip after about 12 noon and take all the pictures you want.

"Sort of stone" isn't very adequate. There are loads of shades that it could be.
I just fail to see when you get asked even the most basic of question you fly off the handle.

You are already going to the trouble (and expense) of going to the tip so isn't it easier to post a picture?

Not when the basic question means unwrapping the seats in order to take pictures when and I repeat they were for free. I want them out of here. As you rightly say there are many shades, pictures won't tell you that so what more? Swatches perhaps snipped from beneath the seats and posted out to anybody asking. I WAS GIVING THEM AWAY, a cracking set of electric memory seats, heated and with the built in kids seat to replace anybody with poverty trim but according to certain members I should be grateful to anybody who is gracious enough to come and collect them. Topic is now superfluous because they are in the Mercedes now, I am having a cup of tea and then they are off to the tip.
