Hi ya ,

I believe Jamie has it but it ain’t cheap and you can do much much more on half the cost ...
my summary it’s not worth it way to much to justify the price tag go for a street torque full rebuild and enjoy 😉 your car 🚗.

Kind regards

The twin cam engine development from the B18/B20, is possible.
I believe this has been done principally by Gunnar Axelsson in Sweden. I have spoken to Gunnar a couple of times. I have seen the engine in a 140 series Volvo and I attach a photo. I had a ride in this car and the performance was impressive.

Not me, but I did dig around a lot. I think Rob Henchoz has some experience and put one in Mr Coelho's car. You could ask him. Though it is expensive, it is a very nice idea and not just that drives beautifully.
You must have seen this, but just in case...

Progress of the Twin Cam 16V development of the B18/B20 engine by Gunnar Axelsson continues.
I have spoken to Gunnar and he reports he has now sold 4 of these engines.
He builds these up himself and can supply spares.
In the form he now recommends the engine has a genuine 165bhp at the back wheels, with nice torque for regular road use.
The first engine is in a 140 series car which successfully campaigned in a recent rally Copenhagen to Berlin via the Baltic countries; 5,500km.
Another engine is in an Amazon in France.
Gunnar is currently working on an engine to be fitted in a P1800 for a customer in Sweden.
