Considering V90
Evening all,
I'm in the UK and currently compiling a short list... And in that list is the Volvo V90 2.0D R-design. I currently drive 5 series M sport touring. I've had BMW for many years but am considering a change... Front runners atm are a 2019 V90 and 2019 C Class AMG line estate. The mercedes is 1.5 petrol but mild hybrid with EQ, so it's 190 bhp. I'm really keen to know what you all think/ what to expect from the V90. What are the driver aids like Are there sufficient toys on the r design Expected MPG Road fund cost Drive position Etc etc... Thanks in advance |

Go for a test drive.
The first Volvo that I owned was a 13 year-old V70 2.5 10V auto. I’d only driven a few yards before I said “I’ll buy it.” It wasn’t the fastest car I’d owned, nor the best handling. It just felt right. Beyond that, it was extremely comfortable and the ergonomics were good, especially the pedals, which weren’t offset to the right as is often the case. It was a car that chilled me out. If you’re worried about costs, bells and whistles and bling then choose a car based upon that. For some it comes down to which key fob you feel happiest leaving on your desk at work for others to see. If, however, you want to enjoy your time with a car then just drive a V90 and some others and see how you feel. In the end, we all seek emotional satisfaction, so go with that. Work out whatever floats your boat and go for it. |

I have just picked up a v90 inscription with the d5 and knew as soon as I sat in it that I wanted it. Previously owned an s60, xc90, v40, s80 and a v70. Enjoyed them all but this one has the B&W sound system!

After a short test drive I was smitten. I think you have chosen well.
